Dill Seed Essential Oil
Anethum graveolens

Source: Anethum graveolens is grown in Hungary.

Extraction: Dill Seed Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation.

The pure oil is a clear, pale yellow, thin liquid.

Aroma: Dill seed essential oil has a fresh, sweet, herbaceous and slightly earthy scent.

Fragrance note: Middle.

Properties: Traditionally the main ingredient of gripe water it can be beneficial to the digestive system. It is purifying, balancing, revitalizing and a cleansing agent.

Uses: Massage, baths, vaporisation and may be added to base emollients.

Blends well with: Black Pepper, Caraway, Cinnamon, Citronella, Clove, Elemi, Grapefruit, Lemon, Nutmeg, Orange, Peppermint, Roman Chamomile Spearmint, and Sandalwood.

Caution: Dilute Dill Seed essential oil to 5% or less in a suitable carrier oil before using.
