Celery Seed is an anti-oxidant and finds wide application as a food flavour in spicy foods.

Source: Apium graveolens grows throughout Europe and North America. Our oil comes from France.

Extraction: Celery Seed essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the dried seeds.

Aroma: Celery seed essential oil has a fresh, warm and slightly spicy scent.

Fragrance note: Middle.

Properties: Celery Seed essential oil has a cleansing effect on the body and mind. It is high in antioxidants and contains 3-n-butylphthalide which has been shown to relieve rheumatic aches and pains.

Uses: Massage, bathes, vaporization and can be added to a base emollient.

Blends well with: Grapefruit, Helichrysum, Hyssop, Lemon and Mint.

Caution: Always dilute Celery seed essential oil to less than 5% before applying to the skin. Nom-toxic, non-irritant but possible sensitization.
