Source: Piper nigrum is native to South India. It is cultivated for its fruit which when dried is known as peppercorn.

Extraction: Black Pepper essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the seeds.

Aroma: Black pepper essential oil has a crisp, stimulating, peppery and warming scent.

Fragrance note: Middle.

Properties: Black Pepper essential oil may be blended and used in massage to increase circulation, help relax aching muscles and support healthy digestion.

Uses: Massage, baths and vaporisation.

Blends well with: Basil, Bergamot, Fennel, Geranium, Lavender, Rose, Rosemary, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang.
