Apricot Kernel Oil Prunus Armeniaca

Source: Prunus Armeniaca is grown commercially in Spain.

Extraction: Apricot Kernal Oil is cold pressed. The oil is expressed from the kernels of the Apricot.

Properties: Apricot Kernel Oil is rich in essential fatty acids, oleic and linoleic acid. It is known for its ability to penetrate the skin without leaving an oily feel. Its moisturising and revitalising properties are also popular in products for dry, ageing, sensitive or inflamed skin.

Uses: Apricot Kernal Oil is very good for facial massages thanks to its fine and light texture and high absorbability. It may be used to enrich creams lotions and baths. It works well as a massage oil on its own but is even better when augmented by essential oils.

Caution: Keep out of eyes. For external use only.
