UNIQUE LIFESTYLE DESIGN
John Henry Dearle (1859-1932) was a British textile and stained-glass designer who studied under William Morris. Dearle designed many of the later wallpapers and textiles released by William Morris’s company. ‘Bourne’ is one of the designs created by Dearle in 1905. The cream background features a symmetrical pattern of curling green leaves juxtaposed with wild and vibrant vermillion flowers and delicate blue florals.
